Census Bureau: 75.8% of people in Clay County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 250,134 citizens living in Clay County in 2021, 75.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 189,674 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 92,396 were male, constituting 48.7%, and 97,278 were female, making up 51.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Clay County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
